A few examples of our research capabilities include:

Diesel specific Fischer-catalyst: Canada Chemical developed a Fischer-Tropsch catalyst, for use on stranded or waste gas streams, which produces a narrow range diesel product. The catalyst was fabricated and tested in the lab.

Pilot plant: Canada Chemical’s engineers and scientists helped design a 25,000 scfd pilot plant for the sponsoring company. Once the pilot plant was in the field Canada Chemical provided extensive technical support for the plant operation, set up the field lab and continued to supply technical support after the technology was purchased by a large multi-national organization.

3-D Cell: This is an example of a thermal reactor we can design, construct and operate to test or develop processes. This reactor cell produces a real time isothermal contour map of a burning or steam front as it progresses through a layer of oil sand.
